Key Responsibilities of the Junior Analyst Role:

As a Junior Analyst in Deal Operations, you will be working closely with sales and cross-functional teams to support and optimize the sales process. Your role will focus on driving coordination, providing essential sales support, and ensuring alignment across teams to meet organizational goals. Your core duties will include:

  • Sales Support: Collaborating with sales reps to provide key deliverables such as customer price quotes, territory reporting, and sales collateral.
  • Pre-sales Support: Assisting with sales collateral, desktop research, and customer price quotes to streamline the sales motion.
  • Coordination: Managing resources for sales territories and ensuring timely responses to sales needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for system and process improvement to optimize sales operations.
  • Contract & Invoice Alignment: Collaborating with Finance and Legal teams to ensure smooth contract execution and alignment to sales orders.
  • Quote Management: Providing quotes to prospective customers based on sales team inputs.
  • Tool Expertise: Offering process and tool expertise to enable the Sales and Success teams in achieving their sales goals.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Operations and other enabling support teams to ensure an effective and seamless sales process.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

To qualify for this role, Pluralsight is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably related to Business, Sales, or Technology).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial as the role involves interacting with various teams.
  • Analytical Skills: A strong analytical mindset and ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Microsoft & Google Suite: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in different time zones (NA, EMEA, APAC) based on the needs of the team.
