Job Role: Trainee – Global IT Technical Support
As a Trainee – Global IT Technical Support at Konecranes, you will be part of the dynamic Global IT Service Delivery Team. This team provides round-the-clock support across the globe, ensuring smooth IT operations and software distribution services.
Location:
Pune, Maharashtra, India (Onsite Position)
Salary:
INR 4 LPA – 6 LPA (As per company standards)
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and resolution of IT-related incidents, ensuring seamless communication between global teams, and supporting the IT service delivery process. Some of your key tasks will include:
- Managing IT requests and logging them in the IT Ticketing tool
- Assessing incidents for severity, risk, and impact, and escalating to L2/L3 support when necessary
- Following up on incidents to ensure timely resolution
- Adopting IT processes and policies during day-to-day support activities
- Assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IT projects
- Providing support for IT project activities
- Identifying and addressing recurring problems in the IT infrastructure
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field
- 0-1 years of experience in a Windows environment (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of operating systems like iOS, Android, and Windows and familiarity with mobile operating systems
- Good knowledge of OS, Network, and Applications
- Knowledge of SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) is preferred
- A Customer Service-Minded attitude
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- ITIL knowledge is an added advantage
Skills Required:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and maintain a positive team dynamic
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards is preferred
