Job Description:
As a Support Analyst at Anthology, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues faced by a distinct set of customers. These customers are primarily system administrators who rely on Anthology’s e-learning applications to provide essential services to students and faculty in various educational institutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve technical issues reported by customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge Management: Draft and review Knowledge Base articles for common issues, ensuring the availability of self-help resources for both customers and internal teams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain excellent communication with customers, providing timely follow-ups and advocating for their needs within the company.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze trends related to customer issues, identify risks or opportunities, and report to Product Support Management.
- Prioritization: Effectively manage multiple technical issues of varying severity, ensuring they are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Account Managers, Product Support Engineers, Cloud Teams, and Developers, to provide seamless support to customers.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills are required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a client-facing enterprise product support environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with system administration, database management, and internet application technologies.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server databases, including troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, internet protocols, networking, firewalls, web server configurations, and internet application architectures based on Java.
- Self-Directed Work Environment: Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and prioritize effectively.
